Tania Maria Zacarias has a Master in Law Degree (L.L.M.) from New York University School of Law (May 2012). 

She has obtained her law degree from the Universidad Nacional de Asuncion – School of Law and Social Sciences (summa cum laude, April 2010).

She specialized and has vast experience in commercial and corporate law as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Tania Zacarias has assisted clients in complex cross border transactions including joint ventures and share and asset purchase transactions. She has also assisted national and international clients in project finance operations.

She has worked in the United Nations Development Program’s project for “Strengthening the Legal System in Paraguay”, conducting research on international and national administrative law.

In addition, she has been an active member of a project led by the Organization of American States (OEA), aimed at strengthening Paraguay’s public registries.

Tania is also a sworn translator (Spanish-English) before the Supreme Court of Paraguay.
